Young Men's Camp 2019 (June 24-29): Packing List

Here is the packing list for this year's week long camp. Sleeping Bag Sleeping Pad Tent, if you want your own Life Jacket, if you have one Pants Shorts Shirts Socks Underwear Jacket Swimming Suit Towel Toothbrush Tooth Paste Sun Screen Bug Spray Personal First Aid Kit Hat Sun Glasses Water Bottle (with carry) and/or Hydration Pack Hiking Shoes Water Shoes Fishing Pole(s) Fishing License Fishing Tackle Camp Chair Snacks Lunch from Home (1st day) Card Games Football, Frisbee, yard game (example: Spike Ball) Any needed medication (please discuss with the leaders so we can make sure it's taken on schedule) Cash, for stops at c-stores (optional)

Wednesday Night Activity, July 11, 7:00 pm, At the Church

All 12-13 Year Old Young Men: The Deacons are in charge of the combined activity next week. We will be planning out and test various events in preparation for the YM/YW Combined Activity next week. Games we need to prepare for: Kubb Bucket Tug-of-War Pass-the-Staff Sword Fight Stick & Wheel Other ideas include: Hammer Race (requires big stump) Water Balloon Toss We need to come-up with prizes and make assignments so we all know who is responsible for which games and other items. Pre-Camp Checklist September 1 - Camp registration online -- DONE, We are registered at Camp Hunt for June 25-30, Campsite: HOPI Spring - Scoutmaster Orientation - details at trappertrails.org/precamp -- Did not attend but I'm familiar with Camp Hunt 16 weeks before camp - Parent’s night conducted to inform parents of camp plans -- I would really like to do this. Let me know what day and time works for you 12 weeks - Leadership arranged, two-deep leadership at all times --  In the works April 30 - 50% fees are due to Trapper Trails --  DONE, paid 50% for 12 youth and 2 adults May 1 - Online merit badge registration opens --   DONE, see Facebook post.
